Sa-bai-dee :)

Selamat Hari Raya! Thanks to Raya holidays, and thanks to Air Asia, our last minute decision to fly over Luang Prabang, Laos could be achieved!!! Now everyone can fly LOL.
We flied to Luang Prabang and decided to explore Nong Khiaw as well which is around 4hrs bus ride from Luang Prabang.

This is our very first time to step on land of Laos, so excited to explore Laos and get confused with Kip, hahaha. “Kip” is the official currency in Laos, but Thai Baht is commonly being accepted by the locals as well. However, based on our experience, it is more worth to spend using Kip instead of Baht. You can choose to bring along USD or Thai Baht and exchange for Kip at Laos. There is money changer service at Luang Prabang Airport, but we noticed that the rate is slightly higher than those money changers available in town.

The big value made us confused at first :P

Hahaha, that’s all! Is it very random and leisure? Most of the time we just loiter around, staring at the river or mountains or even those people walking on the street… Did you guys notice that we didn’t make it to the most-visited and the must-go KwangSi Waterfall? We decided to keep it for next time so that we don’t need to rush for it after back from Nong Khiaw :P So there is next visit LOL :P

View from the plane when we are about to arrive. Can't wait to land on this awesome place!

Very scenic and tiny airport :)

View from top of Phou Si Hill.

Bamboo bridge, a bridge that you need to pay 5000 kip to cross.
